The SmartDoor™ Connected Pet Door is the ideal product for pet owners who are often away from home. This SmartDoor provides pets with their own entry and exit, and owners can exercise complete control at any time and from any location through the My PetSafe app.

When purchasing the SmartDoor, a Pet Door Key is included, which can be attached to the pet's collar. This grants exclusive access to the door for pets. For households with multiple pets, additional Pet Door Keys can be purchased through the PetSafe website, allowing all pets to go outside without the owner having to open the door.

Compatible with the cat's microchip

The Medium SmartDoor can also be linked to the cat's microchip, allowing cats access without the key. This ensures that only pets with the correct microchip or key can use the door, keeping unwanted guests outside. The microchip feature is specifically designed for cats and is compatible with the Medium SmartDoor, which works with FDX-B/15-digit, FDX-A/10-digit, AVID H, and AVID Encrypted/9- or 15-digit microchips.

Individual schedules for each pet

Individual schedules can be set for each pet via the My PetSafe app so that they have access to the door at specific times. Additionally, the app provides notifications on the phone or smartwatch when the door is used, when it is locked, and much more useful information.

In inclement weather, the remote multipoint locking on the flap can be activated to keep the pet safely indoors. The flap has a dynamic weather seal that is energy-efficient and keeps rain and drafts outside. The flap is made of durable plastic and tinted for privacy, keeping curious looks from unwanted animals outside.

Available in two sizes

The SmartDoor Connected Pet Door is available in Medium and Large and operates on batteries or with a separately available wall adapter. It requires a fast 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection and operates on four alkaline batteries (C-cell for the medium SmartDoor™ and D-cell for the large SmartDoor™).

If customers plan to install the SmartDoor in metal, glass, or a wall, they will need the SmartDoor Installation Adapter, available through PetSafe.
