SSSCAT® Automatic Spray Pet Deterrent Kit

It can be challenging to prevent problems with your pets. They wait until you're not looking and then knock over the trash can or perch on the kitchen counter again. Sometimes it feels like you need eyes in the back of your head. SSSCAT™ Automatic Spray Pet Deterrent can be that second pair of eyes, even when you're not at home.

What is it?

SSSCAT™ Automatic Spray Pet Deterrent consists of a motion detector and a spray holder with an odorless repellent spray. When your pet gets too close, the SSSCAT™ system activates the repellent spray, startling your pet. Although the spray is safe and odorless, most cats and dogs dislike being sprayed and quickly learn to avoid it.

Place the repellent spray in a spot where your pet is not welcome (next to a trash can, on the kitchen counter, in the doorway of a room where pets are not allowed) to deter your pet and prevent unwanted behavior.

How does it work?

The repellent spray detects motion up to 90 centimeters away using a passive infrared sensor that captures your pet's body heat. It may not work as well if it's too close to a heat source (like a dishwasher or radiator) or if your pet has long hair and has been outside on a cold day. The motion sensor also recognizes human body heat, so consider this when choosing a location.

The repellent spray is set to long-range mode by default. If it's activated too frequently at a long distance, you can switch to short-range mode.

Each SSSCAT spray contains up to 120 sprays and provides a long-term solution for deterring pets in your home.
